Digester Function and Working Method

The Digester operates by physically breaking down the loose fruits through a combination of mechanical agitation and thermal treatment. The fruits are fed into the digester, where they are subjected to intense mixing by a set of mixing blades. The mechanical action of the blades, combined with the heat generated by the process, helps to rupture the fruit cells, releasing the oil trapped within. This makes the oil more accessible for the subsequent screw pressing stage.

The Digester is constructed from either carbon steel or stainless steel 304. Carbon steel provides robustness and durability, while stainless steel 304 offers excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for applications where hygiene and material purity are critical.
